The weather kept Caldwell County and Henderson County from playing a complete team match on Thursday, but the Lady Tigers swept four matches from the Lady Colonels in tennis action in Henderson.
In singles, Belle Englebright blanked Zoe Lawrence 6-0, 6-0, and Kaylee McEnaney defeated Nora St. Pierre 8-2.
In doubles, Englebright and Maddie Morgan downed Isabella Wright and Kelly Priest 8-1, while Shae Sharp and Josie Shaffer beat Merrick Conkright and Zoe Florez 8-6.
In Thursday’s boys’ competition, Caldwell and Henderson split four matches.
Henderson took the singles tilts. Deegan Lawrence defeated Ryan Hammett 6-0, 6-0, and Jayden Sauer beat Billy Wallace 8-1.
Caldwell won the two doubles matches. Shelton Cansler and Jordan Hammett topped Will White and Issac Holland 8-4, while Brycen Banister and Michael Henry knocked off Corbin Hancock and Ty Polley by the same score.
