Hopkinsville Tigers’ center Jamarion Sharp made his commitment to play basketball at John A. Logan College official on Friday, signing with the Volunteers in a ceremony at HHS.
He joins a team coming off a 27-5 season, in which they were champions of the Great Rivers Athletic Conference, before falling in the semifinals of the District 16 tournament. John A. Logan, located in Carterville, IL, competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
The 7’2″ Sharp completed his senior season as the team’s top rebounder at 7.9 per game, while scoring 7-6 ppg for the 16-14 Tigers. Hoptown’s season ended on a buzzer-beater loss to Christian County in the 8th-District semifinals.
