
Christian County’s Chance Glass didn’t have the advantage of fishing with a partner at Saturday’s Calloway County Laker Open, but it didn’t seem to affect him. Glass caught four bass by himself and registered a weight of 12-pound, 8-ounces to finish in third place out of the 42 boats that recorded a catch on Lake Barkley.
Ty Blanton and Tyler Harrison caught two bass weighing 5-pounds, 1-ounce to finish 23rd. Cameron Acree and Tyler Mosley also caught two fish. Their weight was 4-pounds, 11-ounces and was good enough for a 27th place finish.
Trace Roland and Ethan White caught one fish weighing 2-pounds, 5-ounces for a 37th place finish.
Christian County’s top three teams weighed in at 22-pounds, 4-ounces which was good for a fifth place finish.
Calloway County’s Jacob Hudgin and Dylan Bell caught four bass weighing 20-pounds, 8-ounces to take first place. Marshall County’s Davis Smith and Garrett Hicks took second with 16-pounds, 4-ounces.
Andrew Douglas and Colton Cox of Calloway County had the big bass of the event at 6-pounds, 1-ounce.
Calloway County (39-pounds, 5-ounces) won the team title, with Marshall County (35 pounds) second and McCracken County (27-pounds, 9-ounces) third.
