Caldwell County rapped out 20 hits as they thumped Webster County 13-3 in six innings Tuesday at the VFW Park.
Tate VanHooser and John Davis each had four-hit nights with two of Davis’ hits going for doubles. Gabe East had three hits, and Levin East added a pair of hits and three RBIs.
Oliver Parker’s two-run home run highlighted a four-run third inning that saw Caldwell County take a 9-2 lead. The Tigers had eight extra base hits in the game, with seven of them being doubles.
Bryar Riley picked up the complete game win, allowing five hits in six innings. He struck out six and allowed just one earned run.
Hayden Nunn had two hits for Webster County (4-10), including a double.
Caldwell County (6-6) has won three of four games and will travel to Hopkinsville Friday.
