The tennis teams from Caldwell County and Hopkinsville met Monday afternoon on the tennis courts at Ruff Park. In blustery and cold conditions, Caldwell County came away with the wins in both the boys and girls contests.
In the boys matches, Caldwell County won all but one singles match and all but one doubles match, as they cruised to the 7-2 win over the Tigers.
On the girls side, two of the top teams in the region went at it, with the Caldwell County Lady Tigers defeating the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers in a close one, 5-4. Both teams won three singles matches, with Caldwell County taking two of the three doubles matches to pick up the win.
