Todd Central Archers Cap Busy Day With Second Place Finish at Warrior Shootout

It was a busy Saturday for the Todd County Central archery teams as they competed in the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament at Henderson in the morning and later at the Heritage Christian Academy Warrior Shootout in Hopkinsville.

BOYS REGION RESULTS
Aidan Perrell – 19th (283)
Koby Lyon – 28th (281)
Jaron Cannon – 49th (276)
Luke Craig – 75th (268)
Hunter Johnson – 95th (261)
Dylan Roberts – 108th (257)

As a team, Todd County finished in 10th place with 1,877 points. Henderson County won the region title with 2,007 points with Hopkins County Central finishing second.

Kaitlyn Samples – 40th (274)
Elizabeth Shaw – 51st (272)
Gracie Langley – 54th (271)
Katelyn Anderson – 59th (269)
Elizabeth Hopper – 60th (269)

As a team, Todd County finished eighth in the girls’ region competition with 1,898 points. Henderson County won the team title with 2,010 points.

Later in the day, Todd County Central finished second at the Heritage Christian Academy Warrior Shootout with the Rebels putting five archers in the top 10.

Todd County shot a 3,182 to finish 165 points behind first place Hopkinsville. HCA was third.
