A few misplays early cost Caldwell County, which dropped its first loss of the season to Fort Zumwalt South (Mo.) 6-3 Saturday afternoon. The game was part of the Big Orange Classic at Marshall County High School in Draffenville. The Tigers went 2-1 in the event, picking up wins over Clayton (Mo.) and Mayfield.
