Despite some rough weather in the preseason, Christian County senior Jase Polley feels the Colonels are ready for their season-opener at Franklin-Simpson on Monday night. Polley points to defense and pitching as the Colonels’ strengths, but would like to see the team’s batting average improve as they begin their defense of the 8th-District and 2nd-Region titles.
