Trigg County finished seventh out of 107 teams Saturday at the Kentucky NASP State Archery Tournament in Louisville.
Audrey Smith finished fifth in the state out of 1,145 shooters with a score of 293 out of 300. Her round included 24 tens or bullseyes.
Garrett Knight was the top male shooter for Trigg County with a score of 289. He finished 46th out of 1,221 male shooters.

Trigg County’s score of 3,408 was 41 points behind first place Madison Central. Bullitt Central (3,434) was second, and Lincoln County (3,430) was third. Trigg’s score represented a season-best.
In the 3D Shootout, Smith finished third out of 291 archers with a score of 290. Mitchell shot a 285 to finish 13th.
Knight led the male shooters with a score of 295 that got him third place out of 333 competitors. Hamby shot a 283 to finish 29th.
The Arrowcats will now prepare for the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament Saturday in Henderson.
