Caldwell County senior Emma Staples, who moves to shortstop this season, says the Lady Tigers can use last season’s successful run to the regional championship game as a push into the 2019 season. Caldwell’s girls face a stiff schedule this season, starting on Monday with a home date against Henderson County. The first week of the season also includes a trip to defending 2nd Region champion Christian County.
