The Caldwell County Tigers won regional championships in 2016 and 2017 and were favored in the region last season before suffering a first-round loss to Union County. The Tigers graduated six key seniors last year that all major contributors the last three years. However, senior Gabe East says Caldwell still has big goals this season, despite losing five players who are now on college baseball rosters.
