With cold, damp conditions, the County Tiger baseball team headed indoors on Friday to get in a little work inside the Butler gym. Caldwell was scheduled to play its first scrimmage on Saturday at McLean County but that date has been canceled because of the weather. The Tigers have another scrimmage set for Thursday. That will be held at the VFW Ballpark in Princeton against Union County. Caldwell opens the regular season at home on March 18 against Crittenden County.
