The All-Region Basketball Team was honored between games of Friday’s semifinal doubleheader at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. Kyky Tandy of University Heights Academy was named the 2nd Region Player of the Year while his head coach at UHA, Grant Shouse, was named Coach of the Year.
Players named All-Region were Tandy and Drew McGowan of UHA; K’suan Casey, Kenny White and Cade Cunningham of Madisonville; Derrin Boyd of Caldwell County; Kale Gaither of Union County; Tylan Mann of Hopkins County Central; Travis Perry and Gabe Board of Lyon County; James Nicholas and Jacarius Burks of Hopkinsville; Corey Stewart of Henderson County; Tyler Camplin of Webster County; Eric Brody of Christian County; Kendric Adams of Trigg County; Gabe Mott of Crittenden County; and Skyler Clark of Dawson Springs.
