Hopkinsville senior LB/DB Jaime Cooper-Roman saw his perseverance through injury pay off on Friday afternoon, as he signed to continue his football career and attend Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY.
Cooper-Roman was a part of Tiger teams that went 31-18 over four years, while two knee injuries limited him to only 10 games over his first three seasons. He returned his senior year to play in 11 games, collecting 37 tackles, 25 solo, with 8 tackles for loss, a sack, a fumble forced, and an interception.
After making it official, Cooper-Roman talked about what led him to Georgetown, and what it means to him to play at the next level.
