Christian County’s Ja’Donavin McNeal joined three of his Colonel teammates in signing to play football at the next level in a ceremony at the high school on Tuesday. McNeal and teammate Tyler West both signed with NAIA Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY. The Tigers finished 3-3 in the Mid-South Conference last season, 4-6 overall.
McNeal, a 6’1″ 210 lb. RB/LB, battled injuries during his sophomore and junior seasons, but stayed healthy his senior year and was a work horse in the backfield for the Colonels. The Colonels were 33-15 over McNeal’s four seasons, while he rushed for 1,863 yards on 315 attempts, finding the end zone 22 times.
After making it official with the Tigers, McNeal discussed his commitment.
