After two lopsided, regular-season losses against Hopkinsville, the UHA Lady Blazers put up more of a fight in a 52-49 loss to the Lady Tigers on Monday night’s 8th-District semifinal. The Lady Blazers used 14 first-half points from Lily Hendricks to lead 21-20 at the half. However, the Lady Tigers would overtake them in the third quarter, with Jayla Rose pouring in 12, and hold on for a hard-fought win.
