A former UHA Blazer is going to get a chance to show what he can do in the NBA. The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Thursday that guard Scotty Hopson had been signed to a 10-day contract.
Hopson has appeared in 25 games for the Oklahoma City Blue this season. He averaged 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 29.0 minutes. Prior to his time with the Blue, the Tennessee product logged NBA minutes with the Cavaliers and Mavericks and spent seven seasons playing internationally. The Kentucky native also spent the 2014-15 season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League, appearing in 43 games, and averaging 19.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.05 steals in 32.2 minutes.
