After finishing region runner-up last year, Christian County’s Gage Fowler took home the Region 1 title at 113 lbs. on Saturday at McCracken County, winning his final match through forfeit. After collecting his medal, Fowler said he was proud of his performance throughout the day, and will be looking to improve on last season’s 4th-place finish at state.
