Trigg County claimed the Region I NASP Archery title Saturday at Wildcat Gym, edging Marshall County by three points.
Daniel Martin shot a 294 to finish second for Trigg County. He actually tied Murray’s Nicholas Welch for the top score but was edged in the tie-breaker.
The top six male shooters for Trigg were:

Audrey Smith was Trigg County’s top female shooter on the afternoon with a third place finish. She shot a 287 to finish five points behind region champ Ronni Like of Murray who carded a 292.

Trigg shot a team score of 3,368 points. Marshall County (3,365) was second and Graves County (3,335) was third out of nine teams.
The NASP State Tournament will be March 15-16 in Louisville. The following week, Trigg County will shoot in the KHSAA Region Tournament in Henderson.
