Franklin-Simpson gave head coach Dee Spencer his 100th win at the school, using a strong third quarter to knock off Todd County Central 56-47 Friday night in Elkton.

The Rebels (5-16) built a 24-21 halftime lead in front of their Homecoming crowd. However, the visiting Wildcats (11-9) used an 18-6 advantage in the third quarter to turn things around.

Franklin took a 39-30 lead into the fourth period and held on for the nine-point win after both teams put up 17 points in the final stanza.

DeMarco Chatman scored 12 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Franklin-Simpson. Andreyous Miller added 12 points.

Preston Moore and Clayte Weathers each had 12 points to pace the Rebels. Jon Calvery assisted in the double-figure effort with 10 points.

Following their seventh-straight loss, Todd County Central will next pay a visit to Barren County (10-10) on Saturday.
