The Lyon County girls’ basketball team lost its opening game of the season 48-40 to Caldwell County, and appeared to be headed for a second loss to the Lady Tigers on Thursday night. However, the Lady Lyons scored at the buzzer to force overtime, before going on to win 40-34. Afterward, Coach Jeff Doom talked about 8th grader Gracen Wynn’s clutch play off the bench, and what the big win means for the Lady Lyons.
