After falling behind early, the deficit was too great to for the Christian County Colonels to overcome against the Castle Knights of Newburgh, Indiana. Christian County saw their two-game winning streak come to an end with a 84-58 loss to Castle.
The Colonels fell behind 24-15 in the first quarter and even further at halftime, 45-27. Christian County was also outscored in both the third and fourth quarter by four points each.
Eric Brody and Olajuwon White each scored 13 points in the loss. Fred Tandy posted nine.
The Knights were led by shooting guard Alex Hemenway, a Clemson Tiger signee, who scored a game-high 37 points. Isaiah Swope joined him in double-figures with 12.
Christian County falls below .500 to 11-12 on the season. They Colonels next host Dupont Manual at Saturday at 2. It will be the first of their five remaining games this regular season.
