After a tough match last week that saw Colin Stevens lose in the championship match to top-ranked Micah Ervin of Union County, the Trigg County wrestler bounced back with a first place finish at Woodford County Saturday.
Stevens won his first three matches by pin and defeated Tristan Kelley of Coahulla Creek, Georgia 3-1 in the championship match of the 170-pound class.
Timmy Cannon won a pair of matches in the 113-pound class and earned four points for the Wildcats.
As a team, Trigg County scored 34 points and finished 22nd.
