
Trigg County used a 22-9 second quarter run and gradually pulled away from St. Mary Thursday, picking up a 66-33 win in Paducah.
Freshman Marleigh Reynolds scored six of her 10 point in the decisive second quarter as the Lady Wildcats built a 32-13 lead at the break.
Rylee Bush scored 12 points, and Kaitlyn Slone knocked down four 3-pointers to also score 12 points. Bethany Stallons added eight points for the Lady Wildcats, who hit nine 3-pointers in the contest.
St. Mary (2-7) got 10 points from freshman Trinity Higgins. The Lady Vikings committed 23 turnovers in the game.
Trigg County (4-8) will play in the First Lady Warrior Shootout next week at Community Christian.
