The day after a tough loss to their crosstown district rival Hopkinsville Tigers, the Christian County Colonels rebounded by picking up their first win of the season. The Colonels were able to knock off Louisville Doss in a tight contest, 62-59, in the Independence Bank Classic at Henderson County.
The game was close throughout. Christian County went to the locker room at the half holding to a 32-28 lead.
The Colonels improved to 1-2 on the season and will get back to action Tuesday night when they host the Owensboro Red Devils.
