Dawson Springs held off a late charge from Fulton City and handed the Bulldogs their first loss in four games this season.
The Lady Panthers used an 11-5 second quarter run to lead 23-15 at halftime and built the lead to 34-23 after three quarters.
Fulton City’s Shammara Kinney hit five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and scored 17 of her game-high 22 points in the frame to lead a Fulton City comeback. However, they hit just 1-of-8 free throws in the second half to hurt their rally.
Brooklyn Clark scored eight of her team-high 14 points for the Lady Panthers in the third quarter. Erin Orten added nine points, and Denisha Randolph scored eight.
Dawson Springs (2-1) will host Fort Campbell Thursday.
