
On a night when points were tough to come by, Heritage Christian Academy’s Kinley Deason had no trouble hitting free throws and helped the Lady Warriors to a 24-8 win at North Hardin Christian Tuesday.
Heritage Christian, who is ranked No. 2 in the first KCAA Power Poll of the season, led 16-2 at halftime and never let the Lady Falcons score more than five points in any quarter.
Deason hit 9-of-10 free throws and finished with 14 points seven steals. Chelsea Dortch added eight points and three rebounds, and Abbi Bullock scored two points.
HCA (4-2) will host the KCAA Holiday Friday and Saturday at Warrior Gym. The Lady Warriors will play either Somerset Christian or Highlands Latin Friday at 8:30.
