Caldwell County senior Joby Jaggers has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Murray State University. The Tiger quarterback made the announcement on social media Monday night.
Jaggers received district player of the year honors after throwing for 2,897 yards and 34 touchdowns n 2018. He helped lead the Tigers to a district title and 8-4 record.
In his career, Jaggers completed over 65-percent of his passes for over 5,400 yards and 62 touchdowns. Most of his totals came in the past two seasons as a starter for the Tigers.
Jaggers is the third member of the Tiger football team to announce they are continuing their career in college. Mitchell Harralson and Oliver Parker both committed to Western Kentucky earlier this year.
