Emma Talley wrapped up her rookie year on the LPGA Tour with a 48th place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship Sunday in Naples, Florida.

The Princeton native shot a 3-over 291 over the four-day event at the Tiburon Golf Club. She was her normal consistent self off the tee, hitting 51 of the 56 fairways. However, she struggled on her approach shots, hitting just 63-percent of her greens in regulation. She averaged 29 putts per round.

Lexi Thompson shot an 18-under to beat Nelly Korda by four shots for the win.

Talley won $8,122 Sunday, bringing her total rookie year winnings to $421,287. She finished 52nd on the LPGA money list and secured her LPGA card for 2019 with her finish. Her season-ending Rolex Ranking was 100th and her CME Player of the Year Ranking was 54th.

Talley also finished fourth in the Rolex Rookie of the Year standings and ranked 16th on the LPGA Tour in driving accuracy (79.1%).

She will get a month or so to split time between Kentucky and Alabama to work on her game and will kick off the 2019 LPGA season Jan. 17 at the inaugural Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
