For the second-straight year the Hopkinsville Tigers will begin the post season on the road at Warren East. Also for the second year in a row, the Tigers are riding a winning streak into the playoffs, having won their last 3 after a 4-game slid in the middle of the regular season. A victory on Friday would be the Tigers’ 3rd-straight over the Raiders, including a 54-0 win in 2016 and a 21-7 result last season. Warren East also seems to be playing its best football at the right time, running off 4 wins in the last 5 games.
We caught up with Coach Craig Clayton at practice on Wednesday, and he spoke about how the Tigers turned their season around and discussed the keys for a Hoptown victory on Friday.
