The Hopkinsville football team lost 10-6 to visiting Logan County on Friday night, but that doesn’t tell the whole story for a Tiger team still trying to right itself after the loss of quarterback Jay Bland to injury earlier this season.
The Cougars have lit up the scoreboard this year, averaging over 50 points a game, but were held to a single touchdown by a tenacious Tiger defensive unit. Afterward, Coach Craig Clayton lauded the effort on the defensive side of the ball and feels the Tigers can get back on track over the next few weeks.
