Murray state women’s tennis is set to host a weekend competition Friday and Saturday (Oct. 5-6) at Bennie Purcell Courts in Murray, Kentucky.
When play begins Friday at 1 p.m., the Racers will welcome teams from Belmont, Cumberland and North Alabama.
“This is a great thing to host a fall tournament in our home courts and our team is very excited about,” said MSU coach Jorge Caetano. “We’re looking forward to the competition and it will be against some very good teams. Belmont is one of the top teams in the OVC and Cumberland is a Top-20 NAIA team and UNA is a Top NCAA D-II team and are making the transition to NCAA D-I, so we are expecting a lot of great play.”
