Ryan Roussel scored twice, and the Hopkinsville defense made it stand up in a 2-0 win at Graves County Thursday. It was the sixth time in eight games that Hoptown has scored two or fewer goals, but the Tigers have managed a 3-3-2 record during that stretch.
For Roussel, his goals were the 23rd of the season, which leads the team.
Ethan Bailey and Xavier Bussell combined to shut out Graves County (12-9) in goal.
Hopkinsville (11-6-2) closes out their regular season Saturday at Greenwood in a match rescheduled from August 30 due to lightning in the Bowling Green area that night.
