The Hopkinsville girls’ soccer team closed out its regular-season schedule with a 5-0 road loss to Graves County on Thursday night. The Lady Tigers suffer their third shutout and slip to 8-8 on the year, while the Lady Eagles finish 16-1-1 and haven’t lost since an August 21 setback to Marshall County.
Hopkinsville will begin postseason play on Monday against Christian County (9-7-2) in the 8th District tournament to be played at Fort Campbell. The Lady Tigers claimed the regular-season meeting with the Lady Colonels 2-0.
