
Muhlenberg County brought the best record in the 3rd Region to the Stadium of Champions on Monday night, but the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers were unimpressed, beating the Lady Mustangs 5-2. Hoptown wins it fifth in sixth outings to move to 9-7, while Muhlenberg drops to 14-6 overall.
Ana Hernandez’s hat trick paced the Lady Tigers, with Keeli Miles and Peyton Lewis each scoring once. Miles, Hernandez and Grasen Givens each contributed an assist.
Hopkinsville closes out its regular-season schedule with a trip to Graves County on Thursday. The Lady Eagles are 14-1-1 and haven’t lost in over a month.
