A solid weekend for the Heritage Christian Lady Warriors volleyball team as they traveled to Lexington for a trio of matches. The Lady Warriors ended the trip 2-1, including a win over the #2 ranked team in the KCAA.
The Lady Warriors began their weekend with a match Friday against top ranked Lexington Trinity Christian. HCA gave it a good run, but fell in straight sets 25-17 and 25-22. Coach Eldridge Rogers noted that his team got off to a sluggish start, possibly due in part to the long bus ride prior to the match.
Saturday was a big day for the Lady Warriors. They began the day with an upset win over #2 ranked Community Christian, out of Independence. HCA won the match in straight sets 25-12 and 25-22.
In their third match of the trip HcA defeated Lakeside Christian, of Morehead, in straight sets, 25-17and 25-11.
