After seeing a 29-game streak without getting shutout end earlier this year, the Hopkinsville Tigers were kept off the scoreboard for the second time in six matches Thursday with a 6-0 loss at Warren Central.

It was Hoptown’s second loss to the Dragons this year and fourth straight over the past two seasons.

Warren Central’s defense clamped down on the Tigers, limiting them to five total shots and one shot on goal in the match.

The Dragons scored twice in the first half and four times in the second half in handing Hoptown their second six-goal loss of the season. The other was a 7-1 loss at South Warren Sept. 4.

Hopkinsville returns to action Tuesday when they host Trigg County at the Stadium of Champions.
