The Caldwell County girls’ soccer team was tied 2-2 with visiting Ohio County midway through the second half on Tuesday night, but surrendered 3 goals over the last 20 minutes to fall 5-2.  The Lady Tigers slip to 6-10, while the Lady Eagles have won three-straight to improve to 7-5-2 overall.

Kelsie Adams scored unassisted in the first half for the Lady Tigers and the teams were knotted at 1-1 at the halftime break.  In the second half, Kaylee McEnaney tied the game at 2-2 off a pass from Laney Fletcher, but the Caldwell offense was shut out the rest of the way while the Lady Eagles put the game away with 3 goals over the final 25 minutes.  Abby Hagan made 10 saves in her second game in goal for the Lady Tigers.

On Thursday, the Lady Tigers welcome the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm (8-2-1) to Princeton for an important 7th District match-up.  Both teams enter the match at 0-1 in district play with the second seed in the district tournament on the line.
