Emma Talley tied for 37th place at the Evian Championship in France Sunday and brought home her biggest paycheck in two months.
The Princeton golfer alternated rounds of 1-under and 1-over to shoot even par for the four days in Evian-Les-Bains, France.
Talley’s four-round average of 71.3 was her lowest in a month and the $20,835 she earned was her biggest payday since a fifth place finish in Ohio in mid-July. Entering her trip to France, Talley had missed the cut in consecutive tournaments for the first time in her rookie season on the LPGA Tour.
Talley has earned $388,121 this year and stands at 48th on the LPGA money list and third in the Rolex Rookie of the Year standings. She will have a couple of weeks in America before embarking on a six-week swing through Asia that will see her compete in six events. The first will be Oct. 4-7 in Korea.
