The UHA Lady Blazers are in Richmond with an All A state volleyball championship on their mind. UHA opens pool play Friday evening at 6:30pm. The Lady Blazers are in a pool with St. Henry, Lexington Christian, and Washington County.
UHA opens play Friday evening at 6:30 with a tough matchup against St. Henry. The Lady Crusaders come into the tournament with a record of 13-5, and are the defending All A Classic champions.
UHA’s second match in pool play Friday evening at 8:00 will come against Lexington Christian. The Lady Eagles come into the tourney at only 3-12, with two of their wins coming in the 11th Region All A tournament.
The Lady Blazers will conclude pool play Saturday morning when they take on 5th Region champion Washington County at 9am. The Commanderettes have won their last five in a row, and come into the tournament at 9-4.
If UHA finishes in 1st or 2nd in their pool they will advance to the state championship bracket Saturday. If they finish 3rd or 4th, they will play in the consolation bracket. All matches are being played on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University.
UHA enters the tournament at 11-2, having won their last five in a row.
