
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Baseball travels up I-65 to Louisville this weekend, as the Hilltoppers and Cardinals will play a scrimmage on Saturday, September 15 beginning at 1 p.m. ET. Admission into Jim Patterson Stadium will be free to catch the first fall action for the 2018-19 Hilltoppers.
In addition, the WKU Alumni Association is hosting a tailgate on the third base side of the field from 3:30-6:30 p.m. ET in conjunction with WKU Football’s game later that evening against Louisville. On the gridiron, the Hilltoppers and Cardinals will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
“We look forward to having the opportunity to compete against the UofL, it will be an exciting challenge for our guys,” head coach John Pawlowski said. “It’s going to be a great day for all WKU fans to come out and support the Hilltoppers.”
Fans can find more information and register HERE. The fee is $20 for WKU Alumni Association members or $25 for non-members, while children 10 and under will receive free admission. Food will be provided (hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, cookies, non-alcoholic beverages and other tailgate fare) and attendees can otherwise BYOB.
