The Apollo E-Gals have been ranked in the Top 25 in Kentucky high school volleyball all season long. Thursday night, they made a clear statement as to why they are among the state’s best team.
In what appears to be a strong statement by Apollo, they dispatched Caldwell County in straight sets Thursday evening on the E-Gals home court.
Apollo won the opening set 25-11. The E-Gals then kept things rolling right along in the second set, winning a close battle 25-22.
Apollo then closed out the match in very strong fashion. The E-Gals took the 3rd set 25-8 to close out the sweep.
The Lady Tigers fall to 11-6 on the season and will return to action Tuesday night at the CAB, when they host Hopkins Central in a 7th District matchup.
