Christian County’s Hannah Sumner continued her solid play this season, taking medalist honors at a match Thursday afternoon involving players from four area high schools. Sumner shot 42 for the nine hole match, edging Caldwell County’s Campbell Knoth by two shots. Christian County’s Jenna Humphries and Bridget Owens tied for 3rd with scores of 46 each.
In the team competition, Christian County won the match going away with a score of 181. Hopkinsville was second at 220. UHA finished third with a score of 223. Campbell Knoth was the only player from Caldwell County to take part in the match.
