Caldwell County graduated several key players and leaders from last year’s district champion squad in addition to losing their head coach to another job over the summer. With no coach to oversee summer workouts, several players got the team together and held their own practices until Rhett Miller was named coach. Laney Fletcher was one of the seniors who helped run the workouts, with that leadership transferring to the pitch for the Lady Tigers this fall.
