The UHA Blazers rebounded from their first lost of the season by winning a hard fought battle against Webster County Thursday night. The Blazers got just enough offense to pick up the 2-1 win over the Trojans.
UHA got on the board at the 19 minute mark when Will Bryan scored off an assist from Dan Johnson to put the Blazers up 1-0. Neither team would be able to find the net for the rest of the half, as UHA went to the break up 1-0.
Coming out of the break, the Trojans evened things up at 1-1 early in the second half. UHA then got the game winning goal near the 63 minute mark when Simon East scored off an assist from Connor Dill to make it 2-1. UHA’s defense then held the Trojans at bay to seal the victory.
UHA improves their record to 6-1 on the season. The Blazers return to action Saturday afternoon at Grayson County.
