Hopkinsville shot a team score of 374 to finish 17th at the Marshall County Golf Invitational played Saturday at the Calvert City Country Club.
James Folz led the Tiger golfers with a score of 84. Evan Pyle shot a 93, followed by Calvin Demps (98), Joey Falco (99), and Will Binkley (100). It marked the first time this season that Hopkinsville had their top four golfers come in under 100 in an invitational.
Marshall County’s Tyler Powell won with an even-par 72, with Ohio County’s Trey Lewis finishing one shot behind in second place.
Marshall County won the team title on their home course with a score of 306. Mayfield was second with a 315, and St. Mary was third with a 322. Hopkinsville was 17th with a team score of 374.
