A pretty good day Saturday for the Trigg County High School fishing team. The team was at Lake Beshear to participate in their first tournament of the year. Two freshmen came away with big performances on the day.
Hunter Shelton took home first place on the day. Shelton weighed in 4 fish for 9.69 lbs and had a big fish of 4.24 lb. Jordan Hampton took 2nd place with 2 fish weighing 6.38 lbs, and had the big bass of the tournament at 5.38 lbs.
