
Caldwell County is ranked eighth in Class 3A according to this week’s high school football rankings released by Bluegrasspreps.com. The Tigers are off to a 1-1 start. They opened with a loss to Christian County, whi began the season ranked ninth in Class 5A but have since dropped out. Caldwell rebounded with a win over Graves County last week.
Caldwell County will host Hopkinsville, ranked No. 5 in Class 4A by BGP.
Defending state champion Boyle County is ranked No. 1 followed by Central, Corbin, Belfry, and Lexington Catholic in the top five. Elizabethtown kicks off the second five at No. 6, followed by Casey County, Caldwell County, Bell County, and Paducah Tilghman.
