University Heights Academy checks in at No. 27 in the state, according to the Maher Girls’ Soccer Computer Rankings released Monday.
The Lady Blazers enter their annual week of outdoor school with a record of 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 25-4.
The team one spot ahead of them are the Lady Tigers of Murray, who UHA will play in the All-A sectional next month in Murray.
Defending Second Region champion Henderson County (5-0-1) is ranked third in the state behind DuPont Manual and Sacred Heart.
Other Second Region teams were Madisonville (No. 70), Caldwell County (No. 75), Hopkinsville (No. 105), and Hopkins County Central (No. 110).
There are no official statewide soccer polls with the Maher Rankings one of the few that ranks soccer teams in Kentucky, which is one of a few states that does not classify the sport by size.
