Caldwell County pulled away from Trigg County in the second half to score a 5-1 win and remain unbeaten all-time against the Lady Wildcats.
Allissa Traylor and Laney Fletcher each scored twice for the Lady Tigers, who snapped a three-game losing streak with the victory at the Butler Stadium.
Kaylee McEnaney, who assisted on a pair of goals, tallied Caldwell’s other goal in the win.
Caldwell’s defense held Trigg County to just two shots in the contest. Kara Southwood scored the lone goal for the Lady Wildcats, who have never beaten Caldwell County in 22 career meetings.
Caldwell County (2-4) will play at Paducah Tilghman Friday, while Trigg County (2-4) travels to Lyon County Tuesday for a Fifth District showdown in Eddyville.
